Remote monitoring for Chino warehouses and yards
On land that used to hold dairy herds, live agents now watch Chino warehouses and trailer yards on your cameras around the clock and talk trespassers down before police arrive.
Local and live
Warehouses where the Dairy Preserve used to be
Chino sits at the junction of State Route 60 and State Route 71, and most of its industrial space traces back to dairy land. The city designated 17,000 acres as the San Bernardino County Dairy Preserve in 1967, when Chino was the largest milk-producing community in the state with the largest dairy output in the country; a big piece of that land, about 5,435 acres, is now The Preserve, a mixed development bounded by Kimball Avenue, Euclid Avenue, Hellman Avenue and SR-71. Nearby, the Majestic Spectrum business park alone covers 238.8 acres and more than 5 million square feet across 24 buildings, part of an industrial submarket the park's developer puts at over 57 million square feet citywide.
Chino police told the city council in March 2025 that cargo theft remains a significant problem in the region, pointing to a recent high-value shipment theft as a reason for added outreach to local businesses. The risk shows up in the open, too: in February 2026, two men boxed in a tractor-trailer stopped at a red light in Chino, cut the lock on the trailer and made off with about $7,000 in computer equipment, all caught on camera, before police caught up with their van on a 60 Freeway on-ramp.
A Chino warehouse or trailer lot gets watched without anyone stationed there: every camera stays live, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and AI person and vehicle detection points an agent to a trailer being tampered with or someone on the dock after hours. From there, it's a live, instant talk-down through the speakers, then a call to Chino police if the person hangs around, with video clips and a written report to follow.
On the record: In February 2026, two suspects boxed in a tractor-trailer stopped at a red light in Chino, cut the trailer's lock and stole about $7,000 in computer equipment; Chino police recovered the cargo and arrested both suspects after stopping their van on a State Route 60 on-ramp. FAQ
Chino monitoring questions
Do you cover warehouses in the Majestic Spectrum or around The Preserve?
Yes. Whether the building sits in an older business park or on former dairy land, the coverage works the same way: live agents on the cameras, AI detection watching the docks and trailer rows, and a live, instant talk-down for anyone there after hours.
Can agents check drivers in at our Chino gate?
Yes. An agent watches for the truck, talks to the driver through the gate speakers, checks them against your rules or pickup lists, and opens the gate from wherever they're working, with a log of the time and an image for every entry and exit.
Chino has a lot of newer warehouse space. How would Sigma fit into one?
A Chino building keeps running its power, internet connection and gate exactly as before. What changes is that Sigma's technicians come out once to mount cameras and speakers, or wire into many you already have, after which live agents take over the watching without anyone else needed on-site.
How do I get started?
Request a free site assessment or call (209) 900-5884 ext 2. A Sigma specialist reviews your layout, existing cameras and risks, then recommends the right coverage, at no cost and with no obligation. Every quote costs less than a 24/7 guard.
