Remote video monitoring across Florida
Florida's ports handled 114.25 million tons of cargo in 2023, led by Port Tampa Bay, with PortMiami moving 1,089,443 TEUs in fiscal year 2024 to stand as Florida's top international cargo port and JAXPORT's three marine terminals connecting to three interstates. Florida's Attorney General charged six people in 2026 with running an organized cargo theft ring responsible for at least 32 trailer and vessel thefts worth $7.8 million across Broward, Orange, Osceola, Polk, St. Lucie and Volusia counties between May 2023 and March 2025, and the National Insurance Crime Bureau counted 27,142 vehicles reported stolen in Florida in 2025, the fourth-highest state total in the country even after a 29 percent year-over-year drop.

FAQ
Florida monitoring questions
Do you have an office in Florida?
No. Sigma is based in Acton, Ontario, and monitoring is done remotely by our live agents, so it works anywhere your site has power and an internet connection. Our technicians come to your site for the installation.
Do you install cameras in Florida?
Yes. Our technicians come to your site to design and install cameras and speakers, and we handle ongoing support and maintenance. Your site provides the power, internet connection and gate.
Can you use the cameras I already have?
In many cases, yes. We can connect compatible cameras to our platform and add AI, PTZ cameras or speakers where coverage is missing.
How do I get started?
Request a free site assessment or call (209) 900-5884 ext 2. A Sigma specialist reviews your layout, existing cameras and risks, then recommends the right coverage, at no cost and with no obligation.
