Innisfil Heights and the DSV warehouse on Highway 400
Innisfil's industrial land is concentrated in Innisfil Heights, a 1,600-acre employment area along Highway 400 that the Town says can support more than 16,000 jobs. DSV, a Denmark-based logistics company, broke ground there in June 2024 on a 1.3-million-square-foot, $200-million warehouse at Innisfil Beach Road and the 5th Sideroad, its second-largest facility in Canada, expected to employ about 225 people with what its Canadian managing director called easy access to Highway 400.
That kind of open industrial land also gets used to hide stolen property. On September 7, 2026, South Simcoe Police interrupted a theft in progress at an industrial site on Yonge Street in Innisfil at about 4:20 a.m. and recovered more than $165,000 in stolen property: a 2016 Ford F-550 taken from Richmond Hill, a 2012 Kubota wheel loader taken from Milton, and four large spools of aluminum conductor wire. Both vehicles had been altered to hide their identity, and the suspects got away before officers could make an arrest.
An Innisfil property gets the same treatment whether it's a DSV-sized warehouse or a smaller equipment lot. AI person and vehicle detection on every camera picks up movement after the gates close, and the agent watching live confirms it, delivers a live, instant talk-down through the speakers and calls police and your contacts if the person doesn't go. Parking reports from a yard check tell you the next morning exactly what was on the lot overnight and what wasn't supposed to be there.

FAQ
Innisfil monitoring questions
Our warehouse is in Innisfil Heights near Highway 400. Can you watch the yard and loading docks?
Yes. Cameras and speakers go up over the docks, the yard and the fence line, courtesy of Sigma's installation technicians, and AI detection flags anyone who shouldn't be there after hours. The agent on shift verifies it live, gives a live, instant talk-down and brings in police and your contacts when it's needed.
Can agents run the gate at our Innisfil site overnight?
Yes, with Gate Operations. The agent on duty sees the truck pull up, speaks to the driver over the gate speakers, matches them against your schedule or pickup list, and opens the gate remotely. Every entry and exit is time-stamped and logged with an image.
Sigma isn't based in Innisfil. How does setup work for a site here?
Distance doesn't matter because the monitoring itself happens off-site over the internet. Sigma sends technicians out to put up the cameras and speakers, and cameras an Innisfil property already owns can often be tied into the same system. What we need from you is power, an internet connection and a working gate.
How do I get started?
Request a free site assessment or call (416) 477-5589 ext 2. A Sigma specialist reviews your layout, existing cameras and risks, then recommends the right coverage, at no cost and with no obligation. Every quote costs less than a 24/7 guard.
