Statistics Canada figures show Delta Police recorded 165 thefts over $5,000, not counting vehicle thefts, in 2025, up from 140 in 2023, and the department reports working with CBSA, IMPACT and other partners in 2025 to recover stolen vehicles found in shipping containers.
